Open Call for Proposals! - Theatre Arts Conference 2025

Inviting artists, educators, researchers, and practitioners to be a part of Theatre Arts conference 2025! This conference will feature a range of presentations, workshops, lectures, and performances.

Titled 'All Aboard! - Navigating Crosscurrents of Theatre Arts Practice and Beyond', the upcoming conference calls for proposals that respond to the theme - addressing but not limited to:

• Creative work about and engaging with diasporic communities
• Emergent and developing practices of working with communities in Southeast Asia
• Creative practices revolving around multi-racial, multi-cultural and/or multi-language threads
• Creative practices intertwining traditional art forms as basis for contemporary performance making
• Creative practices that challenge and subvert colonial legacies and practices
• Embracing hybridity for the enablement of creative collaboration beyond boundaries

SDEA Theatre Arts Conference is currently accepting proposal applications.
