Dear Members and Friends of SDEA,

We hope everyone is safe and practicing good hygiene in these trying times.

As you know, our mission is to advocate for the value and practice of drama and theatre and advance the profession of the drama educator. Part of that is working to ensure that we get through this together.

We have aggregated some resources available out there that you might find useful in view of COVID-19. These are resources specifically made available and accessible during this period, and we will be updating this page daily so that it remains relevant. By aggregating this information, we hope to ease some of your burden in understanding what’s available.

We’re also heartened to see many arts practitioners act quickly and take the initiative to create support systems, Facebook groups, and to offer their services. As SDEA, we’re putting into action some plans for the upcoming period that we look forward to announcing very soon.

Lastly, we would like to inform you that the SDEA office at Goodman Arts Centre will be closed starting from tomorrow, 25th March 2020, and all SDEA staff and committee members will be working from home for the next two weeks until at least the 8th of April.
