Yoga at Goodman
Round off an eventful Goodman: B-Sides and wind down with Zul for a session of vinyasa yoga at Goodman Arts Centre's amphitheatre! As drama educators, looking after ourselves is vital, and one of the many ways to do that is to take care of our body. Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic yoga practice that weaves breath and movement together. The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” like yoga poses for example. In Vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. This class is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
*Participants are required to bring a yoga mat, a small towel and a water bottle to the class.
Price: Free
Admission Dates: 16th November 2019
Time: 6pm - 7pm
Venue: Amphitheatre, Goodman Arts Centre
About Zul
Yoga is one of the many things Zul does. He also dances, does gymnastics, Calistechnics, animal movement and flow. He has been practising yoga since 2006 and gained the courage to teach after conducting HIIT + Yoga sessions that were intended to convert more men to yoga. His classes are always fun but challenging, with a bit more attention given to breath, positioning the body and its movement.
