About the Trainer, Michelle Tan, Writer/Drama Educator Currently a freelance playwright and drama educator

Michelle formerly worked with Cake Theatrical Productions as a resident writer. As a drama instructor, she works with and writes for various student groups, focusing on crafting performance text and collaboratively bringing these texts to life. Most recently her play, “I am trying to say something true”, was nominated for Best Original Script at the 2019 M1-Straits Times Life Theatre Awards.
