Join us for the first Let's Connect of 2020 on 7pm, Friday, 20th March, at the Huggs-Epigram Coffee Bookshop!

In this special Let's Connect, gather around with fellow practitioners and share the gift of knowledge by talking about what inspires you. We're working with Huggs-Epigram Coffee Bookshop to give you a space to share a book that inspires you, or some work that you would like to present as a dramatised reading.

Inspiration can come from anywhere. Whether it's a book you discover, a story you hear, or a conversation with a fellow art practitioner, get inspired at Let's Connect: Book Huggers.

How you can take part and share your inspiration!

Share a book that inspires you on our gallery walk

Share a book that inspires you as part of our gallery walk alongside books selected by our Committee from our very own SDEA library. This need not be a guidebook, or academic writing, but should be related to the arts, drama, or education. You may also pick out a book from our SDEA library to borrow for your own reading! Check out the SDEA library at sdea.libib.com.

Showcase your work as a short dramatised reading

If you have something you would like to share, we also invite you to consider having a short dramatised reading of your work at our event. This could be a poem, a passage of prose, or a script you're working on. Simply indicate your interest in your registration or get in touch with us at office@sdea.org.sg! Don't have a book or a piece of work to share? Feel free to simply come down and enjoy the books on display and the company of others!
