Dark Night: Improv For Everyone! Members Exclusive

Registration is closed. As part of the Membership Engagement Initiative, our sub-committee has put together an event mysteriously titled Dark Night which will take place a few times throughout the year.

What is Dark Night? Dark Night is an informal gathering of SDEA members to play, hang out, swop stories and get to know one another better as persons, friends and fellow art warriors. Why the term Dark Night? Theatres go dark when there are no shows or rehearsals on. Senior practitioners at SDEA said that the term Dark Night was coined as local theatres traditionally don’t put up shows on Monday nights. So when it's a Dark Night at the theatres, practitioners get their time off and the opportunity to play.
