Peggy Ferroa is a performance maker and applied theatre practitioner who works in community and educational settings. As a performance maker, she conceptualizes, writes and directs commissioned plays, musicals and multidisciplinary performances for private and government organizations. Her specialised areas of work in applied theatre are in arts integration for schools and rehabilitation through theatre for the Singapore Prison Service. She has been an SDEA member since 2002 and has served on the committee for 6 terms. Positions she has held include committee member, secretary and vice president for one term each and president for two terms. Peggy continues to serve as a committee member and is on the sub-committee for SDEA’s Continuing and Education Training Programme (CET).
