The Singapore Arts Festival is looking for 35 females aged 13 and above to be part of an unusual movement performance that will be created by Marion D’Cruz, one of the region’s leading dancemakers, Anne James, one of Malaysia’s theatre luminaries with their team of Singapore-based collaborators, Charlene Rajendran, Claire Wong, Natalie Hennedige and Zizi Azah.
We invite dancers, non-dancers, performers, non-performers – any and all interested women who:
- Have an adventurous spirit and are brave
- Want to explore something new and journey with these exciting artists
- Would be happy to work under the bare skies with water, gunny sacks, large ceramic urns, grass and mud
- Would be happy to rehearse in the open air and perform under the stars
- Are physically fit
- Are able to commit to the rehearsal and performance schedule from April 16-June 1, 2012
